Jasbir Jassi (b. February 7, 1970 in Dalla Mirjanpur Village, Gurdaspur, Punjab,India is a popular Bhangra singer. He holds a Masters degree in classical vocal music from Apeejay College of Fine Arts. His first pop album, Dil Le Gayee was released in 1998.
Jassi is most influenced by Shaukat Ali Khan and Baba Kashmira Singh. He trained under V S Jolly and then Puran Shah Koti of the Sufiana fame.
Jasbir Jassi is a well known Punjabi singer when it comes to name some of the respected popular ones in Punjabi music industry who have given their lives to make music unbeatably awesome. Jasbir Jassi, like several of his counterparts is a first generation musician. As a kid, young Jassi played the harmonium and was a trained classical musician under the auspices of gurus VS Jolly and Puran Shah Koti of the Sufiana fame. Classical guru Ustad Shaukat Ali Khan heavily influences this Punjab da munda, jasbir’s himself influence is Baba Kashmira Singh ji who inspired him to look beyond the horizons and reach pinnacle of perfection in his field.

A poet with theatric background, Saturday the 7th February born Jasbir Jassi learnt encyclopedia called love and relationship in his early age and practices his learning at every given time.
Jasbir's childhood was very adventurous one as he was born and brought up in a typical town in Punjab. He was the most dotted-upon member of his family. However his home environment was hardly conductive to the promotion of music and creative arts, Jasbir Jassi like several of his counterparts became a first generation musician by having an in-born dedication towards music and singing and his early morning practices bore fruit and he mastered the art which turned into his fame and glory.
The musical journey called life started about 15 years back by recording for Punjabi films like PASSPORT and ZAKHMI. He also sang for remix albums like 'Balle Balbiro Balle'. He then made 'Channa Ve Teri Channani' 1993, which was a follow-up with hit albums like ‘Dil Le Gayee’ 1998 ‘Kudi Kudi’ 1999 ‘Nishani Pyar Di’ 2001 ‘Just Jassi’ 2003 ‘Mukhda Chann Varga’ 2004 'Pyar mere nu’ in Film in ‘Dobara’ 2004.
